These engaging classes are perfect for students in elementary and middle school who have great imaginations and like figuring out how things work. Students work with a partner to design and build projects as they learn important STEM concepts.

In Engineering classes, students use their hands and their minds to collaborate and investigate as they learn important science, engineering and architectural concepts.

In these classes, students:

  • Use LEGO® bricks to build a machine
  • Use K’NEX® pieces to construct one of seven bridge types
  • Learn to think like a real engineer: building a machine or structure, testing it taking it apart, and then redesigning it to come up with a better solution
  • Develop STEM vocabulary words and important communication and collaboration skills

Engineering aligns to state and national standards, and employs sophisticated hands-on tools that engage and inform.
